Un immense miroir a été
installé sur la paroi d'une montagne dans les alpes italiennes. Insolite ? Non,
il est là pour une très bonne raison, apporter la luminosité et la chaleur du
soleil hivernal aux habitants du petit village de Viganella. Niché
au creux
d'une vallée, Viganella passait 84 jours chaque année sans voir un rayon de
soleil...

I found these sites very useful for planning a trip to Prague and preparing the
presentation called "Timelines" for this weeks NASS conference in Vancouver. I
was impressed at the

il existe un site edite par l'universite de BOURGOGNE Universitysurf sur Google

instrument_4 - any help ? calendar ? astrolabe ?
instrument_5 - quadrant. Any extra info ? Extra help ?
instrument_6 - it looks like an old mass dial. Am I right ?
instrument_9 - sundial ? how does it work ?
instrument_11, instrument_12 - ???? I can see a small sundial, and quadrant, but altogether what's that ?
instrument_13, instrument_14, instrument_15 - it's an astrolabe. What
I'm not sure is the back part. How to read the scale ? What's that ?
And
I'm not sure about instrument_19. Looks like a part of an astrolabe but
exactly which one ? From the shape I would say ot's rete, but when I
look at engravements it looks more like the back side of the instrument.
instrument_17 - compass with kardan suspension. But the scale ? Is it magnetic declination or something else ?
instrument_18 - quadrant. If you have any additional and interesting info please share
